Whether we’re anchored at the marina or chasing walleye on Lake Erie, it’s three generations together: my father, my son, and me. The laughter flows freely, and the practical jokes are nonstop—unless I’m deep in the zone preparing a financial recommendation or running life insurance illustrations. That’s when the fun pauses and the focus kicks in.
I spent nearly a decade as a football official, which taught me discipline, precision, and how to keep cool under pressure—skills that now serve me well in the financial world. Football is still my favorite sport, but I’m secretly hoping my kids master golf so they can finally beat me at something before I go full silver fox.
I believe life is meant to be lived with purpose, joy, and generosity. Do good work, be good to people, and enjoy the ride.
