Joseph has been in the life insurance and financial services business since 1979, starting with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. He began his career at MetLife as a financial advisor before working in sales management for about 6 years, after which, he returned to his career as a financial advisor. In July 2016, after the transition of the MetLife Premier Client Group field force to Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company (MassMutual), Joseph started with Skylight Financial Group and continues to work as a financial advisor.
Joseph has Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Akron. He also went on to achieve a few insurance industry designations from the American College and the Life Underwriter Training Council, including: CLU: Chartered Life Underwriter; ChFC: Chartered Financial Consultant; LUTCF: Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow.
Joseph and his wife Cheryl reside in Wadsworth, Ohio. They have two daughters and five grandchildren. He and his wife are members of the First Presbyterian Church in Barberton, Ohio. Joseph currently serves on the board of Session.
Joseph is a current member of the Cleveland-Akron chapter of the Society of Financial Services Professionals and was the past President of the local Akron chapter of Financial Services Professionals.
