Skylight Celebrates Success at Leaders Conference in Chicago

Acrobats, a beach day, zoo trips, fireworks, blues music and a river cruise were just some of the activities that Skylight’s qualifying team members enjoyed at this year’s Leaders Conference in Chicago from July 15-19.  Leaders Conference is Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company’s (MassMutual) largest annual recognition conference which not only celebrates the hard work and success of qualifiers in 2017, but is also a thank you for their continued dedication.

Skylight qualifiers, their family members, and guests joined nearly 4,000 others to hear motivational speakers, network with colleagues, enjoy interesting and historical attractions and have fun. This year’s headline guest speakers were Jake Wood, co-founder and chief executive officer of Team Rubicon, and Common, the Academy Award-winning actor, film producer, poet, and recording artist.  The week culminated in a farewell evening dubbed a “Kaleidoscope of Color” at one of Chicago’s most famous landmarks, Soldier Field, home of the Chicago Bears.

Doug Rechtine, Partner and Financial Advisor at Skylight’s Toledo office said: “The conference was a wonderful experience for me and my family.  The opening night event at Navy Pier was a great venue to kick off the conference, the entertainment and food were superb. At the conference, Skylight also received recognition as a Chairman’s Trophy winner for its agency performance in 2017.
