Kris Wingerd, a lifelong resident of Ottawa Lake, Michigan, is passionate about building genuine relationships and helping individuals, families, and business owners make confident financial decisions.

Kris collaborates with clients of all ages and backgrounds, with a special connection to those who value family and legacy.

He entered the financial services industry in 2019 and joined Skylight Financial Group to provide thoughtful, relationship-driven guidance. Offers an analysis of your current financial situation and helps you to identify financial goals and concerns, illustrates what is being done to reach your goals, and identify gaps, if present, and offers solutions to help fill them.

Along with a team of professionals, Kris offers guidance to clients to help them reach their financial goals. Provide comprehensive financial strategies and/or focus on one specific area of need.

Kris graduated from Heidelberg University, receiving a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance and Insurance. During his time, he played college football where he developed a team-first mindset that he brings into his practice every day. Outside of work, Kris volunteers as a middle school football coach at his alma mater, Whiteford Agricultural Schools, where he enjoys teaching not just the game, but life lessons that shape young athletes. Kris also enjoys golfing, deer hunting, skiing, hiking, and spending time outdoors exploring national parks or relaxing at the lake with Friends, Family, especially a niece and nephews.
