Michael Connole
Managing Partner
After five years as an artillery officer in the United States Marine Corps, Michael Connole began his career in financial services in 1999 as a Financial Advisor at PaineWebber’s flagship office in Beverly Hills, CA. He was a club level producer out-of-the-gate and was invited to be a sales manager in the Beverly Hills Office. In 2004, Mike was then asked to run a hybrid branch in San Francisco, where he successfully teamed institutional advisors with retail advisors to create tremendous growth for the branch. He departed the San Francisco branch prematurely as his Marine Corps Reserve Unit was deployed to Iraq. Later, he was brought onto a regional team in Washington, DC where he helped build out the recruiting contact team and successfully moved over 50 advisors from other firms. His last job at UBS was running a $42mm revenue branch in the Houston Galleria area.
In July of 2013, Mike resigned from UBS to join MetLife as the Managing Partner in Ohio. MassMutual later purchased the Financial Advisor Network from MetLife and now Paul Fox and Michael Connole own Skylight Financial Group. They currently have 200 Advisors throughout the great state of Ohio (Columbus, Cleveland, Akron, Dayton, Cincinnati, Youngstown, and Toledo).
Mike recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel from the United States Marine Corps Reserves where he served honorably for 24 years. He is married to Stephanie and they have four children. Mike and his family are residents of Avon Lake, OH and attend Saint Raphael’s Church in Bay Village.
Mike possesses the Series 7, 9/10, 63, 65, Property and Casualty and Life and Health Licenses.
